Denise & Joseph, 20 Oct 2007

This is my 6th successive wedding in a row over the past weeks, and I'm really glad because 1) I'm taking a break this weekend 2) I can't wait to work on the rest of the images from this series!

The couple and their bridal party are a fun lot of folks, and plus the heart-felt moments really made this series an enjoyable one to capture.

Fulltime Photographer, part-time Cook

I really live to eat. And every week, I try to cook up something different in my kitchen and I'm a little hooked on saffron.

Finally opened the packet of saffron I got from David Jones in Melbourne, and these are really wicked strands of spices. Decided to try out Paella, and I'm shuffling between the kitchen and my photo editing task on my comp. Talk about multi-tasking....

And the clams that have been spurting water in the balcony, I better cook them soon before my son starts playing with them.
After 1 hour and tata! Paella ala Espano!

28 Sept 2007 @Amara Sanctuary

Like to share some photos from one of the series I'm working on right now. This was my 2nd time doing a shoot at Amara Sanctuary, the latest resort in Sentosa.

I love the way light falls on the details.

One of my favourite shots :)

Kodak moment. Actually it's a Sony. (One of the reasons why I don't do group shots, there are better things like these to capture!)

This is one of my favourite dance photos this year. A timeless moment.

Vidhya & Jaymit, congrats and I must say this has been one of the most fun weddings I've had this year.!

More WPJA awards

2007 is a really good year for Lyrical Moments, and just this week, we have won our 4th and 5th International award from WPJA (www.wpja.com) this year!

Here are the winning entries:

9th Placing under Creative Portrait

6th Placing under Humour

Just some slighly older news, the photograph that has been gracing my website since February has been awarded 6th placing under Ceremony by the AGWPJA (www.agwpja.com)!

Bridal photography in Adelaide

Had a great time photographing Fiona and Allen in Adelaide just last month. It was also an opportunity to visit my parents who have migrated there (and when's my turn?) :)
